Went in to get a Honda Odessey chip key cut. The owner and one employee were training to cut specialized keys like mine and asked if I’d like to be the guinea pig. They cut the key and it worked perfectly, no cost for the cutting either which was awesome. Every time I come in, the employees are courteous and friendly. The selection is great and they always have the little things for DIY around the house and maintenance items, things I can never find elsewhere in town. The location in the middle of the housing developments is idea too, less than 7 minutes from the house. Good store!
For a smaller hardware store they have a decent selection of items. The staff is always friendly and ready to help if you need it.
It states they they close at 8. I walked up at 7 and the staff decided to close the door in my face and yell at me. Previous visits revealed an unknowledgeable staff anyways. Just go to true value.
I came to rent a Uhaul truck. When I got here an older man, who I later found out was the owner, was very rude and dumped us on a poor woman who had no idea what she was doing. After waiting for over 30 minutes for her to call someone to figure out how to get us our Uhaul the owner walks back up and tells the woman that we need to wait because someone else was ready to check out and had been waiting almost 5 minutes. He then proceeded to walk around the store and not help the woman check people out while we stood there and waited another 20 minutes. I will not be coming here again to do any sort of business due to the rudeness of the owner.
Very nice store. Well organized. Almost have too much diversity in products rather than having that exact item you need. Decent customer service. Military discount. Yard equipment rental. Even offer Yeti products, home appliances, and weber bbq replacement parts. Strange location in regards to fort riley but will be my go to store for my home and lawn needs.
