A few negatives/ indifferences: Rental gun selection is thorough but not exhaustive. Price per hour is higher than most places in the US, but expected as they've got a monopoly on indoors with Ogden being closed. Gun prices are competitive with big box sellers, so no reason to purchase from them. Ventilation inside can get funky smelling during peak times. Limited space inside, shooting alone is fine but you'll have brass hitting you, and it's hard to coach new shooters if you bring them here.
Been going for the past two years roughly once a month. Best indoor shooting nearby. Front staff are friendly, RSOs have taken their job seriously and enforce rules without being jerks. As a range, it's like any other high quality range. You can byog, rent guns that require you to buy their marked up ammo, and offers a quaint selection to buy.
Have to buy their ammo. No gunsmith on hand. Other than that, great and friendly place.
This place great with friendly and helpful staff. The shooting lanes are the best I have seen.
The up front staff are cool. They have a great selection of firearms to rent..... BUT... This old man range safety guy will harrass you about every little thing the entire time youre trying to enjoy shooting. He was rude and kept looking over my shoulder to see what type of ammo I was shooting and it was uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. He tried sweeping brass at my feet while I was in my lane and I was being watched from a back room through glass. I left before my hour was over. They just lost my business because ill never go back.
Conclusion: I don't love shooting here, but I greatly enjoy and recommend it to everyone. I can't vouch enough for the staff who do fantastic work- which in the gun community is sadly a difficult thing to find.
Honestly its not terrible. Its just ultra expensive and their in house ammo is garbage. 10 dollars an hour per person is just awful. Decent for handguns though.
