We had a four star waiter she was so nice. She took our order and our food came back in no time. It was nice and hot, that right there made me want to come back. The origin waiter for this area didn't help us that's why she step up because we was just sitting there waiting. I like to say thank you four star waiter.
The only reason I get four stars is because one time they gave us our breakfast and we had an eggshell and hair on our plate but they were very nice and corrected it right away and gave us that one meal for free. Then another time I ask for a to-go box and the waiter gave me a used box with food already in it. But he corrected it right away and apologized and gave us a free dessert on the house. Other than those two incidents where they were just lacking the waitresses and waiters are always friendly it's always clean I love going into the gift shop and my husband pretty much has to drag me out of that place.
I will never eat at the junction city cracker barrel ever again. The only thing good is the food, though service was way below average. One day of eating there, my fiance and I were seated in the very back of the restaurant. No big deal, but every other table received their orders faster than we did, and they came into the store 15 to 30 minutes after us. We had to ask a different waitress/waiter to see about our food. The waiter assigned to our table offered no apologies even as we had to ask another waitress/waiter to refill our drinks.
We went there to eat today, August 30, 2017 around 3:00 pm. The waitress placed my food on the table and immediately I noticed the long hair laying across the top of my food and showed it to her. It completely turned my stomach and I didn't want the meal or a replacement. The waitress was very sorry and apologized. She came back to the table a few minutes later to check how everyone was doing and again apologized stating she just spoke with her manager and he would be over to speak with me momentarily, she also stated I wouldn't have to pay for my meal that had the hair on it, the meal I never touched or had one bite of. Well you damn right I wouldn't pay for something I never ate! I just smiled and replied 'thank you', although I did pay for my tea since I drank it. I also did not request to speak to management. Well everyone else finished their meal, she brought over the bill, we paid and left. We left her an 18% cash tip as it wasn't her fault. Also management never bothered to come by, guess he was too busy or too lazy to worry about some hair being in the food.
Love this place. Great atmosphere. Love the store and the food is always amazing! Waitresses could improve on checking on their tables more often.
