After taking my vehicle to Flint Hills Auto and getting the run around, I drove 25 minutes from Manhattan to Dick Edwards Auto Plaza in Junction City. When I got there I was relieved to see a member of the service team, Steve Lindsey who I knew from the Old store in Manhattan. This individual took the time to look into my issue and discovered the problem with my vehicle would have been covered under warranty and could have been taken care of by Flint Hills Auto, if only they too would have taken the time to take care of a customer. Even though the warranty had run out about a month earlier, Dick Edwards Auto Plaza honored the warranty and fixed my vehicle per the warranty guidelines.
I came into the dealership needing a vehicle that day and they made sure it happened! I came in knowing which vehicle I wanted. Dawn helped me pin down the details and then found the perfect sales person for me. Cliff made sure the vehicle was in perfect condition for me. Tanice made sure I received the perfect loan and made sure I understood all of the paper work. This was the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. Just picked up new 2018 F-150. Got exactly what i wanted and sooner than expected. I always got great service with my old 2006 F-150 for the past 12 years, and expect the same great service for the next 12 years.
This place is the worst especially Mr. Gabe. Had ordered some work to be done on my vehicle without my consent and I ended up paying thousands of dollars more than I should have. (Seriously) Then when I took my vehicle out from the shop it had a class III leak with my truck smoking nuts and bolts loose and one of my decals scrapped right off. Apparently they didn't like the fact that I complained to Division about their poor service and preying on soldiers while taking advantage and telling me I need a new engine without looking at alternatives. End result went to a much better shop and only needed some winch turning on my engine and a part replaced and voila has been running much better. This place is a too off and doesn't even care or blink an eye about how shady they truly are. Ft. Riley has posted a RED FLAG for soldiers to come here. There were a handful of other cases from soldiers complaining about this place...watch your pocket book and safety for your life if you let them touch your vehicle.

Based on my experience with the staff at Dick Edwards Auto Plaza, I highly recommend them. Their staff, both in sales and service, are excellent. Also, the service on our cars has been excellent. I very much appreciate having them take care of our vehicles.

Over the years I have noticed customer service and care has become more of a title than a reality. Very few businesses take care of the people who help take care of their business.
