Don't expect this place to be in any way helpful to you. Whether in person or over messaging, these guys will be blunt and disinterested until you're ready to wave the money in their face. Oh, and even then, when you've set a time to come in and sign the paperwork and buy the car you've been researching, getting insurance quotes for, and moving money around to make it work, they'll sell it out from under you the night before. Will never waste my time here again.
The people who were here were very knowledgeable in the vehicles they had. They didn't mind all of the questions I had to ask or that I was taking a lot of pictures. They weren't hovering over me while I checked the vehicle for an hour or two, and they didn't mind that I took it out for a test ride. I wasn't able to buy the vehicle though because of the age of it, they weren't able to find anyone who wanted to finance it. Which is understandable as it is over 20 years old.
The level of disrespect from these people are astounding. From insulting you to just plain old rude. If you do make it far enough in your visit to get a contract. PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD READ IT. Because if you don't, you could be missing key information. Ask alot of questions because apparently they do not like that. The manager ripped up my contract because i did that. All personnel were unqualified and unprofessional.
The gentleman who works on the Grant St location is extremely rude. I went to look at a pickup they had and it was way overpriced for the mileage and condition. The vehicle looked like it had never been cleaned, had a leaking brake power booster, pretty noticeable exhaust leak and the check engine light bulb never came on. I asked if i could hook up my scanner to the truck to check for codes and with their permission i did. I found 4 codes all dealing with the emissions systems of the vehicle. After bringing the problems to the salesman's attention he told me to scram because he he didn't like the offer I threw out on the truck. If you are a leader on Ft. Riley, do not allow your soldiers to purchase the vehicles that this place sells. This is the kind of place that is looking to make a quick buck on overpriced and not mechanically sound vehicles.
But do try them out, they will help in whichever way they can.
